Summer has arrived....

This summer I will be taking care of Wesley and his friend Hayden every other week. I did it last summer and we had fun. They love to hang out at my house and play with Legos or watch movies or play Wii. This week since I have been recovering from surgery they came over but before they arrived apparently were lectured by their fathers because they were very sweet and kind and helpful. Hayden is always very helpful but Wesley not so much but this week they both were sweet. They have requested to be over here the weeks their fathers have them. So I feel honored that they like to do that with me.
Yesterday it rained off and on all day. After a few movies, Wii, Legos I could tell they were getting a little restless so I suggested they strip down and go play in the rain. They looked at me like I was setting a trap for them to get into trouble. At first Wesley took the umbrella and Hayden walked out "braving" the raindrops w/o the umbrella. I watched them for a few minutes from the safety of the house then decided to enjoy the quiet. A few minutes later Wesley comes to the door all covered in mud and said "Mimi I am a native!" Of course I had to take a picture.
